The Assistant Director - Accounting is responsible for assisting the Finance Director with all phases of the accounting functions of the Town’s Finance Department including accounts payable, chart of account maintenance, vendor file maintenance, financial reporting, link between payroll and accounting systems, maintenance of various financial systems, and reporting to state and federal governments.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting with five to eight years of related experience. The salary range is: $1,323.61 to $1,764.23 per week.
