The Town of Leyden is seeking a part time Town Accountant (up to 15 hours per week), Responsibilities include maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers and accounts, warrant preparation and preparing all related documents including Schedule A, Balance Sheets and Year-End Reports. Degree in accounting or related field, at least 2 years knowledge of Municipal accounting and financing laws preferable with knowledge of MS Excel. Must be able to juggle competing deadlines and schedule changes. Must be bondable.
